Support activities for international students are centred on our International Centre. This is staffed by people skilled in making the time you spend at City College and in Coventry itself a more enjoyable and rewarding experience. They will give you information, help you with problems – such as visa extensions, forms for opening bank accounts and so on – and generally provide whatever support you need to ensure that you are able to make the most of your study time.

International Teaching Team

Brian Annett
BA Hons., Cert TESOL

Brian trained to be a teacher at the college in 2001 and has since taught in South Korea. He has also travelled extensively throughout Asia.




Elizabeth Bray
BA Hons., PGCE, Cert TESOL, Dip.

Elizabeth teaches on our IELTS preparation courses. Elizabeth has trained teachers at the College as well as in Turkey and China. She has also travelled extensively in Japan, Africa, India and Cuba.



Bob Normington
BA Hons., Cert TESOL

Bob has taught at the college for several years and has spent a long time teaching on our IELTS programmes. Bob started teaching at the College after having lived in Brazil for some years.
