Eligibility of childcare providers
The Learner Support Fund will only make payments to childcare providers who hold a current Ofsted Certificate of Registration for daycare. All payments are made directly to the childcare provider, monthly in arrears.

Other things you need to know
Once your application for funding has been assessed by the Learner Support Fund panel, you will receive a letter at your home address to let you know what their decision is. If you have been successful in your application for funding, Student Services will liaise directly with your childcare provider, and make payments directly to them.
Once your application to the LSF has been agreed your attendance will be monitored on a monthly basis.
If you fail to attend at least 80% of your courses in any one month, your childcare funding may be reduced in line with your attendance. If it carries on, we will give the childcare provider notice of our intention to cease payments.
